The City of Saskatoon is known as the City of Bridges, this nickname comes from the number of bridges that cross the beautiful South Saskatchewan River. The Bessborough Hotel, best known as the Castle on the River, attracts people and events world wide. The world renowned Saskatchewan Jazz Festival, is one event that uses the prestigious hotel as well as the surrounding Meewasin Park.
